Itinerary

0745hrs depart for Semenggoh Wildlife Centre where you will have the chance to observe the Orang Utans as the emerge from the forest for their feeding time. Nestled within a sprawling 653-hectare of forest reserve, this centre offers a unique opportunity to observe how Orang Utans who are either orphaned or rescued from captivity are rehabilitated and trained to survive in the wild. Witness these amazing creatures up close as they often emerge from the forest to collect fruits provided by the park rangers. While you observe, enjoy the serene sounds of the forest highlighted by the soothing sounds of cicadas chirping.

Remark: Wildlife sightings are influenced by weather and various natural factors. During the fruiting season (December – February), sightings at feeding areas are not guaranteed

Note: Put on good walking shoes, light cotton clothing to remain comfortable, wide-brimmed hat / cap, sunblock lotion and insect repellent

After the visit, transfer to Bengoh Dam for the Eco-Host Kampung Sting experience. Upon arrival, register and enjoy a 15-minute boat ride across the lake. Begin your hike to Kampung Sting, a relocated village nestled in the Bengoh mountain range. Explore the village and its surroundings, meet the locals, and enjoy the serene highland views. Dinner and overnight at the homestay (basic amenities provided – mattress & bedding).

After breakfast, check out and begin your adventure to Curtain Waterfall (approx. 30 minutes hike, moderate trail). Take a short break and continue to Susung Waterfall – slippery & moderate trail. Enjoy the stunning scenery and a packed lunch at Susung Waterfall. After lunch, return to Curtain Waterfall for a refreshing swim before heading back to the main jetty. Take a boat ride back to Bengoh Dam then proceed to Kuching city and transfer to the hotel/airport.

* Moderate fitness is recommended for trekking
* Trails may be slippery – proper footwear advised
* Basic village homestay experience – ideal for cultural immersion & nature lovers
