Gunung Gading National Park

Depart from the hotel for a full-day trip to Gunung Gading National Park. Gunung Gading National Park is home to the world’s largest flower, the Rafflesia, which can reach up to one meter in diameter. This park is home to the endemic Rafflesia tuan-mudae. When in bloom, the flower emits a strong, pungent smell to attract flies and other insects. The Rafflesia has no fixed blooming season — it takes about nine months to mature, yet it flowers for only four to five days before wilting. Beyond the Rafflesia, the park offers enjoyable walks and challenging jungle treks. As you explore the trails, your guide will share insights into the diverse plant life found in the rainforest. Lunch will be provided before you return to the hotel.
